Fixing thread tension

I was having a few problems with my thread tension, the thread was all bunching up underneath. I found that by lifting the presser foot and re-threading, the machine worked perfectly after that. Lifting the presser foot actually releases the top tension and ensures that the thread will go through properly. If that didn't work, I was off the mechanic.
